II.2) QUANTITY OR SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT
II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: Cyclical repair and maintenance of
electrical and mechanical services including air conditioning systems,
watertesting and responsive maintenance for a 3 year period with an option
to extend by a further 3 years subject to mutual agreement and
satisfactory performance.
II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT OR TIME-LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Starting:
1.4.2010. Completion: 31.3.2013.
SECTION III: LEGAL, ECONOMIC, FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION
III.1) CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE CONTRACT
III.1.1) Deposits and guarantees required: A Performance Bond will be
required for 15 % of the annual value of the contract, the Bondsman to be
approved by the Council.
III.1.2) Main financing conditions and payment arrangements and/or
reference to the relevant provisions regulating them: Payment will be made
within 28 days of a properly rendered invoice.
III.1.4) Other particular conditions to which the performance of the
contract is subject: No.
III.2) CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
III.2.1) Personal situation of economic operators, including requirements
relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers: Information and
formalities necessary for evaluating if requirements are met: Work to
Electrical Installation by NICEIC, ESA or other accredited body work on
Gas Services to be registered with Gas Safe work on Water Testing and
Servicing to be undertaken by Members of the Legionella Control
Association or similar accrediting body testing of samples to be
undertaken by a body approved by Wokingham Borough Council.
III.2.2) Economic and financial capacity: Information and formalities
necessary for evaluating if requirements are met: As detailed in the Pre
Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ).
Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: Satisfactory credit
rating (a credit check will be carried out) turnover greater than 60 % of
the contract value per annum as otherwise detailed in the PQQ.
