SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION

II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): While the
initial requirement is for the provision of a service to Cork University
Hospital, the service may be extended to include other HSE locations
throughout Cork City and County.
The initial service requires scheduled and unscheduled deliveries to Cork
University Hospital from the Logistics & Inventory Management CUH Group
Store at Sarsfield Road, Wilton, Cork. It is estimated that this service
will comprise approximately 1,000 trips per annum, which may increase to
approx. 1,500 trips per annum over time. Tenderers are asked to note that
the contracted service provider will be required to assign a dedicated
vehicle and driver to this service in order to maintain a consistent
continuous service, as it is imperative that this service is
uninterrupted.
