facility, including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical &
electrical disciplines.

II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): CPI is
tendering for services design consultancy. The project will encompass the
build of an extension to the purpose built facility completed in 2006
including an ISO class 5-6 clean room and process laboratories - suitable
for R&D and prototyping in advanced plastic electronics. CPI will be the
Client for the project.
The clean room and laboratories must be adaptable in function, and
accommodate industry-standard tools. The clean room and laboratories will
be designed to maximise the budget allocation for the project, and will be
designed to also accommodate process equipment owned by third party
organisations. Additional space within the existing building will be
modified to provide additional supporting office facilities etc.
The overall design contract shall be let as a single tender and it is
expected a consortia bid lead by one consultancy will be the preferred
option.
