RECOVERY- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR THE INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.  THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT #DOL- J06PA00003. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW.

This opportunity is available only to Management and Training Corporation under contract number DOL-J06PA00003. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management on behalf of the Office of Job Corps has awarded a modification in the amount of $80,598 to the Charleston Job Corps Center operated by Management and Training Corporation. These funds are provided under The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  The funding is within the not-to exceed ceiling for the Career Technical Skills Training on this contract. 

It would be impracticable to use a fixed price contract to secure services of the kind or quality required for this modification, since the modification is to an existing Cost Plus Incentive Fee contract (Cost Reimbursement Contract).

The funding is intended for Operations, Career Technical  Skills Training Curriculum, Maintenance equipment, an Electric vehicle and a Green Initiatives project to purchase environmentally friendly hand dryers.
