RECOVERY- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR THE INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.  THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT #DOL-JO9PA00004. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW.

This opportunity is available only to the Horizons Youth Services, Harrisonburg, VA. under contract number DOL-JO9PA00004. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management on behalf of the Office of Job Corps intends to award a modification in the amount of $156,609 to the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center operated by Horizons Youth Services. These funds are provided under The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  The funding is within the not-to exceed ceiling for Construction/Rehab on this contract. 

It would be impracticable to use a fixed price contract to secure services of the kind or quality required for this modification, since the modification is to an existing Cost Plus Incentive Fee contract (Cost Reimbursement Contract).

The funding is intended for various items, including, washer/dryers, light switch sensors, dorm atomizing  shower heads, heavy equipment operator virtual training system and an electric vehicle.
