RECOVERY - Install HVAC System in buildings D and E at Fort Mchenry National Monument, Baltimore, MD The work of this project consists of the installation of a new HVAC system for Enlisted Men's Barracks No. 1 (D building) and Enlisted Men's Barracks No. 2 (E Building) in the Historic Star Fort. The principle work of this contract includes all equipment, labor, materials and supplies needed to install a new HVAC system for Enlisted Men's Barracks No. 1 (D building) and Enlisted Men's Barracks No. 2 (E Building) in the Historic Star Fort. Carry out construction work under this contract in a manner which minimizes disturbance to normal park operations and visitor use. In accordance with Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competiveness Demonstration Program, this procurement is open to all sized businesses. All contractors experienced in this type of construction work may compete for this contract. Estimated project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is being issued as UNRESTRICTED and is therefore subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for Hubzone Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238990 with a small business size of $14 million of annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. A small business concern is defined as a concern (including all of its subsidiaries) having less than or equal to $14 million annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. The solicitation for this procurement will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about 11/16/2009. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation.
