Scope of Work/Description:

The main objectives of the project are as summarized below: o ,,Install a fully functional state of the art, new Internet Protocol (IP) based CCTV system capable of providing 24-hour closed circuit television for monitoring and surveillance, to assist on-duty control room operators, Fire Station and security personnel in running and monitoring the plant activities as well as the unauthorized intrusions. o ,,Install a fully functional state of-the-art, integrated and reliable Public Address/General Alarm (PA/GA) system and two-way communication. The PA/GA system shall be interfaced with existing Halul Fire and Gas system to activate local zone wise Fire and Gas warning and telephone Nortel system. o ,,Install a fully functional state of the art new IP based Access Control system (ACS) capable of providing 24-hour access control facilities, to assist on-duty control room operators, Fire Station and security personnel in running and monitoring the plant activities..The access control system shall also include mustering head count during any emergency mustering (3 mustering locations) in Halul. o ,,Install a fully functional Intrusion Detection system (IDS) to monitor and control all interior and exterior unauthorized intrusions. o ,,Integrate all CCTV system, Access control system (ACS) and intrusion Detection system (IDS) to form one Electronic security system (ESS) and interface it to the QP Information Technology server (IT Server) for further communication to Doha Central security centre. o ,,Modify/convert the existing assigned room on marine building third floor as Security Control Centre (SCC). This shall serve as a central monitoring and assessment location for the CCTV, ACS and IDS for Halul. Other secondary monitoring locations shall be CCR in NCB and Fire station o ,,Demolition and removal of equipment identified as superfluous


Note:

a) Tender documents for the above services/works can be obtained from the Dates of Issue at the different locations indicated above. Tender documents may be collected between 08:30 and 13:30 only.

b) Tender documents will be released only to authorized company representatives with the Letter of Authorization on Company Letterhead.

c) Non-refundable Tender fees are payable as below to Doha Bank Ltd. at QP Branch, Ras Abu Aboud, Doha, or to Qatar National Bank, QP Branch, 2nd Floor, Al-Sadd Plaza, Doha:
STC & LTC Tenders - Fee per tender QR 200.00
GTC Tenders - Fee per tender QR 500.00

d) Where tender documents are collected on behalf of others, the entity who collects the tender documents must submit a letter from the "principal(s)" stating that the tender documents are collected on their behalf.

e) Where tender documents are collected on behalf of more than one "principal", the tender fee has to be paid in respect of each tender document.

f) No queries will be entertained, or bids received, from entities who have not purchased tender documents in compliance with the above provisions.
