INVITATION TO BID FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF
CHRISTMAS GROCERY ITEMS TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO INDGENT CONSTITUENTS


The City Government of Navotas has appropriated the amount of Two Million One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P2,100,000.00) for the supply and delivery of Christmas grocery items which shall be distributed to indigent constituents of Navotas City by the Sangguniang Panlungsod.

Prospective Bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last two (2) years with an amount of at least 25% of the proposed project. The Eligibility Check / Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use a non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted. All particulars relative to this public bidding shall be governed by RA 9184 otherwise as Government Procurement Reform Act (GPRA) and its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations.

Interested bidders can secure bidding documents at the Office of the BAC Secretariat, 3rd Floor, Navotas City Hall from November 14, 2009 to December 2, 2009, 12:00PM. The Pre-Bid Conference shall be on November 20, 2009, 2:00PM at the 4th floor Conference Room. Deadline for submission of eligibility and technical/financial proposal shall be on or before 12:00PM of December 2, 2009 and shall be formally opened by the Committee on 2:00PM of December 2, 2009 at 4th Floor Conference Room, City Hall Building.

The City and its Bids and Awards Committee, assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders from any expenses incurred in the preparation of bids and participation in the biding process. The Committee also reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or all formalities, impose additional terms and conditions and to accept bids deemed most advantageous to the City Government.
