II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The competition
is for the collection and transportation of source sorted waste (I), the
collection of waste from holiday homes (II), the storage and
placement/collection of waste collection equipment (III) and the
collection of glass/metal from recycling points (IV).
Start 1.11.2010. 6 year contract period, the awarding authority has a
right to extend the contract for 1 - one + 1 - one year.

II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: There are 18 743 households and 3 917
holiday homes included in the waste collection scheme per October 2009. At
the same time Larvik had 42 124 inhabitents and an area of approx. 530
km2.
The competition is for the collection and transportation of source sorted
waste (I), the collection of waste from holiday homes (II), the storage
and placement/collection of waste collection equipment (III) and the
collection of glass/metal from recycling points (IV).
Start 1.11.2010. 6 year contract period, the awarding authority has a
right to extend the contract for 1 - one + 1 - one year.
II.2.2) Options: Yes.
Description of these options: The contract's length can be increased by
1+1 year.
II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT OR TIME-LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Starting:
1.11.2010. Completion: 31.10.2016.
