Note: Procurement of a Suitable Building on rent from Colombo suburbs for Office Accommodation

Sealed Quotations are invited for the procurement of a suitable building on rent from Colombo (preference will be given to Colombo 11,10, 08, 07 and 02) or Colombo suburbs for office accommodation of the Ministry of Rural Industries & Self Employment Promotion.
The proposed building should have an area of at least 12,000 sqft and should have electricity, pipe borne water and telephone facilities and parking space for at least 15 vehicles. The bidder should be the legal owner of the proposed building. The monthly rent payable will be determined on the recommendation of teh Chief Valuer's assessment on income.
Every "Bid" should accompany a sketch map of the location of the building, the building plan and full details of facilities available and their prevailing conditions.
Bids may be sent by registered post so as to reach the Secretary to the Ministry of Rural Industries & Self Employment Promotion, No.780, Maradana Road, Colombo 10 on or before 27-11-2009 or be deposited in the Tender Box which Will be provided at the address given therein. The top left hand corner of the envelope enclosing the Bids should be marked "Bids for an Office Building''.
Bids received after the closing date specified herein will be rejected.
The decision of the Ministry Procurement Committee of the Ministry of Rural Industries & Self Employment Promotion on this matter shall be conclusive and final.
