The U. S. Census Bureau is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 51-SO-BC-10-00007 is issued as a Request For Quote. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-37 dated 14-OCT-09. CLIN001 Battery, Alkaline, Size D, Duracell or Equal. Quantity 6,500 (12 PK). Delivery is FOB destination to the U. S. Census Bureau, 700 Patrol Road, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. Acceptance will be at the same location. Delivery on or before 09-DEC-09. Prior to award, the apparent low bidder must be actively registered at CCR.gov and have on file or submit a Census vendor registration form. The following provisions and clauses apply to this RFQ. 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evalutions-Commerical Items, 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commerical Items, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commerical Items. Include all shipping and handling charges to the delivery location. Bids are due by 5:00 PM (EST) on 18-NOV-09.
