RECOVERY - Per FAR 5.7, this notice is provided for informational purposes only. The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Mobile District has a requirement to provide public water supply to Deerlick Creek Park and includes the expansion of the water distribution system, within the Nicol community, Tuscaloosa, AL. Installation of the lines must be completed and potable water provided to Deerlick Creek Park in within 180 days after contract award in adequate quantity and pressure to serve the park facilities and visitors. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, the City of Tuscaloosa, City Hall Building, 2201 University Blvd, (35401), PO Box 2089, Tuscaloosa, AL 35403-2089, under the authority of FAR 6.302. American Reinvestment and Recovery Act Funds will be utilized for this project. ARRA clauses will be incorporated into the solicitation. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price Contract will be awarded. The NAICS code is 221310 and the size standard is $7 million. The solicitation will be issued on/about 10 Dec 09.
