The United States Postal Service hereby serves notice of its intent to solicit proposals for an alternative location of the Arlington � EADS Station Post Office. This relocation is a result of the expiring lease rights at the current location at 1720 Eads St Arlington, VA 2202. In accordance with the aforesaid, the US Postal Service has issued: Solicitation #: 362575-10-A-P003 seeking space in an existing building of approximately 3,000 square feet on a suitable site, together with a dock or other provision for truck loading and unloading plus parking for approximately 25 passenger vehicles. The building must meet Federal Handicapped Accessibility Standards at the time of occupancy or be capable of being modified to meet such. The building/site should be properly zoned or capable of being rezoned for use as a postal facility. All offers must be submitted on the proper U.S. Postal Service forms. PREFERRED AREA: Arlington VA in an area bounded by Army/Navy Blvd on the North, Jefferson Davis Hwy. on the east, South Glebe Rd to the South, and South Arlington Rd on the West. All offers must at a minimum provide complete information on the amount of rentable space, number of parking spaces or area of space used for parking, a description of loading facilities and a sketch or survey or similar document showing the space and site. Annual lease rate must be provided including an estimate of any additional real estate operational expense. Proposals should be received by the U.S. Postal Service at the above address no later than close of business, 4:00 p.m., December 11, 2009, at the above address.
