1. International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in various currencies towards the cost of Institutional Strengthen and Capacity Building of Finance, P&D and other Departments of digit and Baltistan . It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for procurement of Computer Hardware and other related items for the Finance Department Gilgit.
2. The office of the Project Director, Capacity Building Project, Finance Department Gilgit now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the following items:-
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Mr. Ansar Ali, Section Officer Gilgit Baltistan Secretariat.
4. Interested bidders/parties may obtain a complete set of bidding documents on submission of a written application to the undersigned
5. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the World Bank Standard Bidding Documents: Procurement of Goods for National Competitive Bidding, Pakistan, Part One.
6. Quotations must be delivered to the above office on or before November 17, 2009 and must be accompanied by a security of 2% of the bid amount.
7. Quotations will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 11:15 hours on November 17, 2009 in the office of Mr. Ansar Ali. Section Officer Gilgit Baltistan Secretariat
8. The bidders are requested to give their best and final prices as no negotiations are expected.
9. Bidders shall sign the Bid Form provided in Section VI of the Bidding Documents otherwise bid shall be considered as non-responsive.
10. Finance Department Gilgit Baltistan Secretariat reserves the right to accept or reject any offer or part thereof without assigning any reason.
