This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 562119, size standard $12.5 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System is soliciting quotations from qualified, responsible businesses who have technical expertise and necessary resources to provide the required Recycling Collection Services to collect and dispose of cardboard containers, comingled cans plastics and glass, as well as comingled paper resulting from day to day operation of the Medical Center located at Castle Point, New York 12511-0100. Contract will be effective Decmber 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010 with four optional years. This solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ with an anticipated closing date of November 12, 2009. Offerors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendment or additional information via the fedbizopps website. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award (see Internet site: http://www.ccr.gov/). All offerors must submit their representations and certifications at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov.
