Applications are invited up to 30th November 2009 from reputed Suppliers / Manufacturers / Contractors who wish to register themselves for the under mentioned supplies and services. All applications should be submitted under Registered Cover marked "Supplies /Services - 2010" on the left-hand corner of the envelope as follows. a) Application for Registration should be addressed to the Bursar, University of Jaffna, Thirunelvely, Jaffna a) Separate application should be sent for each supply / services. And each Application should accompany with a Money order to the value of Rs. 500/ = drawn in favour of "University of Jaffna" payable at Jaffna G.P.O. as registration fee. b) Quotations will be called from the registered suppliers. However, the University reserves the right to call for quotation from other sources also. c) Any supplier who fails to submit quotation when called for or fail to supply items / services in time or in uniformity with the stipulated specification will be struck off from the register without prior notice. d) Every application should include the following information along with a copy of the Business Registration Certificate. b) Supply of service applied for. c) Name and Address of the Entrepreneurship. d) Telephone, Fax number & Email Address e) Number & date of the business registration. (Copy of the Registration to f) be attached) g) Nature of business. h) Name of Bankers, i) Credit facilities available. j) ICTAD Registration No.: (For Engineering services Item 2 only). If not registered with ICTAD applicant can submit quotations for works not Exceeding Rs. 200,000/ = only. Note: Application for registration will not be considered if the copy of the Business Registration is not annexed to the Application. Applicants who wish to carry out works at the Vavuniya Campus, University of Jaffna should indicate the same in their application. They should also submit business registration as Proof for their main / branch office in Vavuniya District. Give names & experience of all Engineers and Architects permanently employed at your organization. (For engineering services, item No: 06 only) Payment will be made to the Registered Name only.
