Note: Any Bidder submitting a bid, shall submit a Bank draft or a Bank Guarantee issued by a recognized Bank in Sri Lanka or a reputed foreign bank with' the Bank guarantee confirmed by a bank operating in Sri Lanka (the local bank should be a commercial bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka) payable to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, in a sum of Rupees Eight Hundred Thousand (Rs. 800,000/=) along with the bid.

The Chairman, Ministry Procurement Committee, Ministry of Petroleum & Petroleum Resources Development on behalf of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Refinery Division, Sapugaskanda, Kelaniya, Sri Lanka will receive sealed bids from reputed Carbon Steel Plates manufacturers or their authorized export agents abroad or their authorized local agents ((Manufacturers or Export Agents) for the supply of Carbon Steel Plates Conforming to Material ASTM A 283 Gr. C.
Bidding Documents can be obtained up to 04-December-2009 free of charge.
Any Bidder submitting a bid, shall submit a Bank draft or a Bank Guarantee issued by a recognized Bank in Sri Lanka or a reputed foreign bank with' the Bank guarantee confirmed by a bank operating in Sri Lanka (the local bank should be a commercial bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka) payable to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, in a sum of Rupees Eight Hundred Thousand (Rs. 800,000/=) along with the bid.

Alternatively Bidding documents could also be obtained from the under mentioned.
Bids will be received by the Chairman, Ministry Procurement Committee until 1400 hours on 09-December-2009 and will be opened thereafter at 1430 firs, on the same day at the Refinery Conference Room.
