Description

The Senior Solution Architect will be required to deliver on tasks including, but not limited to Funnelback search evaluation, information models, artefact review, tender evaluations and development of other solution design artefacts

- In July 2006, the Council of Australian Governments identified as a regulatory hotspot the demand for a seamless, single online registration system for ABN/BN, including trade mark searching. The program of work has developed a business case that has outlined three modules in order to deliver substantial benefits to Australian businesses, governments, and consumers across 3 key service areas of Discovery, Registration and Client account.
- The projects have been grouped according to functionality of delivery agency and stakeholders. The Business Online Services (BOS) Project is the information discovery and ongoing client account modules; and the Business Registration Project is the combined ABN/BN registration module. The Department is the lead agency responsible for the implementation of the BOS Project.
- An Implementation Plan  was subsequently developed by the Department and approved at the October 2008 meeting of COAG. The Implementation Plan identifies DIISR as the lead policy agency for the complete program of work with specific responsibility for the delivery of the BOS Project which comprises the development of a solution to address the Discovery and Client Account service areas.
- The Business Online Services project is now entering the elaboration / construction phase where we require the services of a suitably qualified Solution Architect with significant experience with Whole of Government portal projects.
