| Description | The International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) is the global network of arts councils and ministries of culture. IFACCA and the Australia Council for the Arts will co-host the 5th World Summit on Arts and Culture, which will take place in Melbourne, 3 to 6 October 2011. IFACCA's World Summits are major international events intended to provide national arts councils, ministries of culture and other agencies with an opportunity to discuss key issues affecting public support for the arts and creativity. Taking place in different cities around the world, normally every three years, the World Summits attract senior ministerial and government officials as well as the heads and representatives from arts funding agencies, arts companies, community organisations, artists, cultural workers, academics, researchers and arts advocates. Previous World Summits were held in Canada (2000), Singapore (2003), England (2006) and most recently, South Africa (2009).The successful tenderer will be required to:· Provide services in relation to the Summit, including registrations, delegate accommodation arrangements, catering, local transport, technical facilities and IT/AV support - Provide budget monitoring services in association with suppliers before and during the event, and prepare budgets for approval by the Australia Council
- Manage venue liaison and all logistical and operational requirements for the Summit
