Specifications:

1. National Rural Support Programme (NRSP) has received a sub-loan from the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) as part of its credit received from the International Development Association (IDA) in various currencies towards the cost of Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this credit will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for procurement of Laptop Computers, Laser Jet Printers & office equipment for NRSP.
2. NRSP – head office, Islamabad now invites sealed bids from the eligible bidders for the supply of following Lots. Bidders may bid for one or more complete Lots. Incomplete or partial bids will be treated as non-responsive. Bid evaluation and contract award will be lot-wise
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of National Rural Support Programme (NRSP), 46-Aga Khan Road, F-6/4, Islamabad (Tele: 92-51-2822324, 2822319, 2825325, 9204473 fax: 92-51-2822779). Details of each bid are given on bidding documents along with technical specifications.
4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by the interested bidders from the office address mentioned above, on production of Demand Draft or Pay Order amounting to RS 500/- (Rupees five hundred only), non-refundable, in favor of NRSP, Islamabad as the cost of bidding documents on any working day during the office working hours from 31st October – 30th November, 2009.
5. The provision in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract is the provisions of the world Bank Sample Bidding Documents: Procurement of Goods for National Competitive Bidding, Pakistan Part one (1)
6. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 11:00 AM on 1st December, 2009. The bids must be accompanied by an amount of bid security as mentioned above separately for each Lot.
7. Bids submitted for each lot will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who chose to attend as per date & time given against each lot at the NRSP head office, 46-Aga Khan Road, F-6/4 Islamabad.
8. The manufacturer/supplier must have at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing & supplying of similar to those offered in the bid.
