Serviciile de suport în exploatare a sistemului SAP includ, în principal, urmatoarele actiuni realizate de prestator:
Prestatorul va aplica, cu informarea si acordul achizitorului, pachetele de corectie software (patch, service pack, support packages etc.), pentru toate sistemele SAP ale achizitorului, pe toate nivelele respectiv sistem de operare, baza de date si aplicatii SAP.
•Prestatorul va rezolva toate incidentele care apar în exploatarea sistemului SAP si care nu sunt datorate infrastructurii hardware sau de comunicatii, în functie de gravitatea acestora (modul în care este afectat sistemul SAP) într-un timp determinat.
•Prestatorul va actiona ca o interfata între achizitor si producatorul sistemului informatic SAP, respectiv SAP AG, asistând achizitorul în tot procesul de prestare servicii mentenanta, aferente licentelor SAP, de catre SAP AG, respectiv Early Watch Check [EWC], Early Watch Alert [EWA], Going Live Check [GLC] si Going Live Functional Upgrade [GLFC] pentru toate sistemele productive SAP ale achizitorului amplasate în Centrele de Prelucrare Centralizata a Datelor [CPCD].
