All candidates must hold a valid UK supply licence and can ensure delivery
for 1.1.2010 start date.
SECTION IV: PROCEDURE
IV.1) TYPE OF PROCEDURE
IV.1.1) Type of procedure: Accelerated restricted.
Justification for the choice of accelerated procedure: Contract expires
31.12.2009, therefore following the normal restricted time period is
impractical, as client would miss contract renewal date and subsequently
incur out of contract rates.
IV.1.2) Limitations on the number of operators who will be invited to
tender or to participate: Envisaged number of operators 5
Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: Must
hold UK supply licence and also guarantee the delivery for 1.1.2010.
IV.2) AWARD CRITERIA
IV.2.1) Award criteria: The most economically advantageous tender in
terms of the criteria stated below:
1. Financial value of the contract. Weighting: 50 %.
2. Quality of billing (EDI). Weighting: 35 %.
3. Third party recommendation. Weighting: 10 %.
4. Analysis of the terms and conditions of supply. Weighting: 5 %.
