This is a Sole Source announcement. No hard copy RFQ will be prepared or

made available for distribution. The Government intends to award on a firm

fixed price contract to Marine Services, Inc., 101 Convention Center Drive, Suite 700, Las Vegas, NV, 89109-2001 for services to providing NSW Operational Preparation of the Environment (OPE) courses in response to operational tasking in support of the War on Terrorism (WOT) to be awarded IAW Simplified Acquisition FAR Part 13. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received by the due date and time of this publication will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  Questions must be in writing and may be directed via email to laura.patterson@navsoc.socom.mil. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 611430 with a size standard of $7 Million.
