Timber Sales: The work includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, and management necessary for harvesting Pine and Hardwood Products and other incidental related work at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. All merchantable timber products are to become the property of the Contractor and shall be removed from the limits of the Station. This is a Multiple Award, Firm Fixed Price, Services Contract. One contract will be awarded from this solicitation. The successful Contractor will be required to provide weekly payrolls. Bid documents will be available on or about 1 December 2009. The bid opening date will be on or about 16 December 2009. Mr. Danny Marshburn will accompany prospective bidders to the site on 2 December 2009. Prospective Bidders who wish to inspect the site should be at Building No. 12 Room 130, located on McHugh Blvd. at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, before 9:00 am. The NAICS Code is 113310, Logging. The size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to issue the solicitation on the NECO Site http://www.neco.navy.mil/.
