The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for supervision, labor and necessary tools to perform daily feeding and watering of wild horses and burros at the Salt Lake Regional Wild Horse and Burro Facility located at 8400 West 12600 South, Butterfield Canyon, Herriman, Utah. Contractor shall also perform a visual wellness and report to the Government representative animals that appear sickly, injured,foaling mares or deceased. Contract period is for a base year with provisions for one option year. Services to be performed 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The number of animals may vary from 50 to 800 head and are held in 19 small and 5 large pens. The BLM shall provide all hay, supplemental feeds, water, troughs, tractor, bale fork, trailer, utility vehicle, tire chains, fuel and other necessary fluids for the above mentioned equipment. All details specific to this soliciation will be included in the Statement of Work which shall be attached to the actual Soliciation when posted on fedconnect.net. The North American Industry Classification System number for this procurement is 115210. Solicitation will be made available electronically on or about November 18th, 2009. Receipt of offers will be on or about December 7, 2009. Offerors wishing to recieve electronic notification of changes will need to register to recieve notification of this specific solicitation at www.fedconnect.net. Additionally, offerors must register at www.ccr.gov to be eligible for awardof a Federal contract. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guaranteed notification.
