Scope of work BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKS:

Maintenance work for existing Al Karana lagoons (size 2.0 km x 2.0 km).
Work comprises but not necessarily limited to make available at the site and operate whenever required covering (24/7) with:
1. Minimum one (1) no. Excavator (Backhoe) of size 329 Dl – CAT or equal approved and
2. One (1) no. Wheel Loader of size 966H – CAT or equal approved as required including fuel (diesel) , as well as
3. If necessary, additional one (1) no. Wheel Loader, same as above and
4. One (1) no. 10 ton compactor with vibrator ,
5. Three (3) nos. “6 wheel” – Trucks , which could be increased to 5 nos. Trucks, if necessary to cover any repair or remedial work for minor or major seepage of the water of the outer bund of the said lagoons. Contractor’s responsibility is to attend any seepage noticed by Contractor or Ashghal Authority or Municipality, day time or day and night time and repair them accordingly.
Work shall include gathering the soil form nearby areas , repair and consolidating the bund by adding soil at the sides or other parts of the bund as necessary and compact it to the soil MDD , until to stop the seepage and ensure the surround area dry completely.
Work shall also include to make the access road good in case of found to be damaged by rain and to shift the Municipality’s site office, from time to time as requested by Municipality’s representatives.
