City of Edmonton Body Armour

Scope of Work:
This RFP is for an Outline Agreement for the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment required to provide for the custom fitting, supply and delivery of concealable soft body armour, to be worn under a uniform/shirt, for the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) and other City personnel requiring body armour on an if, as, and when required basis in accordance with the Specifications attached, this includes but is not limited to, accessories for the body armour such as, carriers and armour/trauma plates, etc.
The term of the Outline Agreement will be for a period of 2 years. The City will have the option to extend the term, in its sole discretion, for up to 8 additional 1 year periods.
Body armour to be required over the next five years is estimated to be:
1500 for Edmonton Police Services
200 for other City personnel
