The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), on behalf of the U.S. House of Representatives,seeks to upgrade its current Studio configuration for  Studio B to a three HD camera Studio in the Rayburn Building to complete the HD conversion. The description of the camera system required for this project is included in Attachment 1 of the Invitation For Bid (IFB) which may be downloaded from the House web site: http://www.house.gov/cao-opp/currentsol.shtml. Solicitation questions must be submitted via email to Christine.stewart@mail.house.gov by Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Questions and answers will be published in an amendment to the solicitation. Sealed bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in Room H2-301 Ford House Office Building.  Refer to the solicitation for submission requirements and details. ****

Amendment 0001 - provides answers to vendors' questions.  The amendment and related documents may be downloaded at http://www.house.gov/cao-opp/currentsol.shtml.  Bid opening remains Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. and proposals must be received prior to bid opening.  Because of House mail processing procedures which delays receipt of packages, sealed bids should arrive at the mail processing center at least five to seven business days before the due date to assure receipt by the bid opening. ****
