SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic intends to award a $6,849,454.30 sole-sourcecontract to Hewlett Packard Company, 6600 Rockledge Dr Ste 150, Bethesda,MD 20817-1806 for the following : Hewlett Packard (HP) Itanium Blade serversand Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) disk subsystems with all required hardwareand licenses for the Military Health System (MHS) to support the CompositeHealth Care Systems (CHCS). Hewlett Packard is the developer and owner ofthis requested hardware and all associated licensing rights. It is the onlyvendor authorized to provide the maintenance and support on the HP Legacyconfiguration in the CHCS for unimpeded operation of applications. A firm, fixed-price commercial contract is anticipated in accordance with FARPart 13.5. The NAICS Code is 334111 with a size standard of 1,000 employees.
