Note: Tender Form Fee - Rs. 500/= + (15% VAT).
Registration Fee - Rs. 1500/= + (15% VAT).
Registration Fee for construction contracts : Up to Rs. 1000000/= - Rs. 5000/= + (15% VAT).
Registration fee for contracts above Rs. 1000000/= - Rs. 10000/= + (15% VAT).

Applications; are invited from qualified and recognized applicants, contractors and manufacturers, who wish to be registered to supply the below mentioned goods and services to this institute in the year 2010.
The form issued by the Municipal Council upon following cash payments should be filled and sent by Registered Post or be deposited in the Tender Box placed at the City Office together with the receipt for deposit of money stating "Registration of Contractors and Suppliers 2010" at the top left-hand of the envelope containing applications.
Tender Form Fee - Rs. 500/= + (15% VAT).
Registration Fee - Rs. 1500/= + (15% VAT).
Registration Fee for construction contracts : Up to Rs. 1000000/= - Rs. 5000/= + (15% VAT).
Registration fee for contracts above Rs. 1000000/= - Rs. 10000/= + (15% VAT) Issuing of Forms - from 10-11-2009 Closing of applications : 3.30 p.m. on 30.11.2009.
Every payment made to the Municipal Council is subjected to Value Added Tax. Registration fee for each item should be made separately and payments can be made by a Money Order / Bank Draft written in favour of the Municipal Commissioner of Negombo or by cash. Cheques will not be accepted.
Conditions :-
Quotations will be called from selected Suppliers and the Council retains the right to accept goods and services from outside the registered list as and when required.
Selection of Suppliers for different goods and services will be at the sole discretion of the Council.
The registration of the applicants who fail to submit quotations on intimation or those who fail to supply goods to the agreed prices and standards will be cancelled.
The Council reserves the right to impose additional conditions on supply of goods if the need arises to do so.
The applicants who seek registration as Construction Contractors should be institutions or individuals having the registration Certificates for contracts over Rs. 1000000/ = in the Institute of Construction Training and Development (ICTAD).
