REQUEST FOR TENDER

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) is Australia’s national policing agency. It is the Australian Government’s chief source of advice on policing issues, as well as Australia’s international law enforcement and policing representative. In support of the rule of law, the AFP, primarily through the International Deployment Group (IDG), supports police capacity development across the Pacific and in Cambodia, Timor-Leste and Afghanistan.

The AFP is seeking to establish a panel of suitably qualified and experienced organizations, which can support AFP police capacity development initiatives by identifying, engaging, deploying and managing specialist expertise in the following service categories:

1. Learning and Development Services;
2. Analytical and Research Services; and
3. Advisory Services.

In recognition of the breadth of policing challenges in the Pacific and elsewhere, expertise is sought in the following professional fields:

(a) Policing;
(b) Corrections;
(c) Fire and emergency management;
(d) Maritime;
(e) Customs and immigration;
(f) Law reform and legislative drafting;
(g) Public sector management and administration; and
(h) Gender equality.

Tenders are being sought in relation to each of the three service categories.
