INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The City Government of Valenzuela, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites interested suppliers/manufacturers, to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder listed project to wit:

Project Reference No. : 208-TENT-LIGA-GOODS-2009
Project Name : Purchase of various tents
Project Description : Supply of various tents for LIGA use
Approved Budget for the Contract : PhP627,000.00
Source of Fund : LIGA(Ref. No. 09-595-Goods/BC-86-2009)
Delivery Period : 10 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking similar project within the last two (2) years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The eligibility check/screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use a non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post Qualification of the lowest calculated responsive bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-bidding Conference/s, Evaluation of Bids, Post Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its IRR-A.

The complete schedules of activities are herein listed below as follows:
ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE
1. Issuance of Bid Documents November 12 & 13, 2009 at the Mayor's Office, 8AM to 5 PM
2. Submission of Bids November 17, 2009 up to 12:00 noon, Mayor's Office
3. Opening of Bids November 17, 2009, 2:00 PM, Conference Room-Finance Center Bldg.
4. Post Qualification 7 days after opening of Bids
5. Notice of Awards 14 days after Opening of Bids

Bid documents will be available from the Office of the City Mayor, 3/F Exec. Bldg., Mac Arthur Hi-way, Karuhatan, Valenzuela City, to bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php2,500.00) inclusive of eligibility documents, to the City Treasurer of the City Government of Valenzuela:

The City Government of Valenzuela reserves the right to accept any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to the contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder/s and assume no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.
