INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) of the City of Lipa, invites interested suppliers, distributors and manufacturers to apply for eligibility and to bid on the following project/s:

Schedule of activities as follows:

1. November 6, 2009 - November 13, 2009 - Advertisement/Posting of Invitation to Bid
2. November 10, 2009 - November 17, 2009 - Issuance and availability of Bidding Documents
3. November 25, 2009 (8:00 to 10:00am) - Submission Bids
4. November 25, 2009 (exactly2:00pm) - Opening of Bids

Complete set of eligibility requirements and bid documents may be obtained from the BAC Secretariat at the City General Services Office, Lipa City. Duly accomplished eligibility requirements and bid documents shall be submitted in sealed envelope addressed to BAC Chairman c/o BAC Secretariat.

All bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond in the form of cash, certified check, manager's check issued by a commercial bank or surety bond callable on demand issued by GSIS or bonding company duly accredited by the city government for at least 5 percent of the total bid price.

The BAC of the City of Lipa reserves the right to accept or reject all bids thereof, waive formality or defects therein and accept the offer that is considered most advantageous to the city government.

This invitation to bid is posted at the Manila Times, conspicuous places in various public buildings and at the website: www.procurementservice.org.
