Development, editing, translation, adaptation, design, layout, printing
and distribution of a European school diary aimed at 15–18-year-old
secondary school users and corresponding teachers' kit focusing on
consumer/citizen issues in all Member States of the European Union.
II.2) TYPE OF CONTRACT AND PLACE OF DELIVERY OR OF PERFORMANCE: Services.

II.3) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND QUANTITY OR VALUE OF SUPPLIES OR
SERVICES: Development, editing, translation, adaptation, design and
layout:
— develop, edit , translate, adapt and design, in principle for all Member
States of the European Union, the contents of the Europa Diary aimed at
15–18-year-old secondary school users,
— develop, edit, translate, adapt, and design a corresponding teacher's
guide with useful pedagogical materials and tips,
— prepare a list of schools who ordered the diaries indicating the
quantities to be delivered to the individual schools for the printer and
the distribution company,
— establish a database of EU schools for the Commission on the basis of
that provided by EAHC and complete it with data given by national partners
and/or other bodies,
— establish a specific website for the Europa Diary and its teachers' kit
featuring the Commission logo and EAHC's logo (the successful tenderers
will not be allowed to advertise their other initiatives/products on this
website), make public all information related to the Europa Diary and
teachers' kit in all EU languages,
— establish an online ordering system for the schools/institutions in all
countries who undertake to participate in the project.
Printing of diaries and teachers' guides, conditioning and distribution.
Estimated cost excluding VAT: 28 000 000 EUR.
