This Special Notice announces the Government's intention to modify the existing sole source contract FA2550-08-C-8012, Obscura, Mission Integration, & Network Support (OMINS) with the contractor currently performing the effort (Lockheed Martin Integration Systems & Solutions) to extend the period of performance. The current contract provides support of three separate, but related, areas of the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN): Obscura, Mission Integration & Network-Common Data) for the 22d Space Operations Squadron (22 SOPS). The extended period of performance is 01 January 2010 through 30 April 2011 to ensure continuation of critical engineering and technical support for mission and system capabilities integration in to the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) while a follow-on competitive acquisition is in progress.

This amendment to the Special Notice is to announce the Government's intention to shorten the period of performance from 01 January 2010 through 30 April 2011 to 01 January 2010 through 31 March 2010.
