The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for project number: 40181AQ034 for the Construction of a Horse Fence at the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), located within Mackay Island NWR, Knotts Island, North Carolina. The project site location is at the Currituck NWR, Station Landing Unit, Tract 13, Knotts Island, NC. The work requires the contractor to supply all materials, labor, supervision and equipment to construct a 10,500 linear feet horse fence. A site visit is highly suggested. Instructions for the site visit shall be outlined in the RFQ. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $50,000. The NAICS code is 238990, size standard: $14 Million. The RFQ will be issued electronically on or about November 10, 2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.fbo.gov. The Response Date will be on or about December 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM (EST). Questions or clarifications concerning any ambiguities in the RFQ shall be addressed in e-mail form to andrea_brzoska@fws.gov. PLEASE DEFER ALL QUESTIONS UNTIL AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE RFQ. Once the RFQ is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the Federal Business Opportunity website frequently for any amendments to any and all documents. Note: In order to be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov. Prior to the CCR registration, offerors must have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet at http://www.dnb.com.
