Assignment Overview

Assignment Title: Consultancy Team for Technical Assistance: Climate Resilient Cities – City of Jogjakarta

Assignment Country: Indonesia

Assignment Description

The consultancy team for technical Assistance Climate Resilient Cities – City of Jogjakarta, will include the following scope: 1)Provision of technical assistance and preparatory involving local community with Focus Group Discussion, data collection, workshop, potential risk mapping, disaster risk mapping at city level; 2)Provision of assistance in establishing local group community and training of trainers (TOT); 3)Provision of assistance to local group community in formulating Local Resilient Action Plan (LRAP) focus on climate resilient cities; 4)Provision of monitoring and evaluation to ensure that local group community as the mediator to climate resilient cities; 5)Final Consultancy Report outlining the activity implementation and description of outcome.

Funding Source:

The World Bank intends to finance the assignment/services described below under a trust fund from the GFDRR: INDONESIA: MAINSTREAMING DISASTER RISK REDUCTION.

The consultant will be a firm or consortium.

Submission Requirements:
The World Bank now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).
Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

Interested consultants are hereby invited to submit expressions of interest.

Notes:
Consultants will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the current edition of the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers.

Selection and contracting will normally be made from responses to this notification. The consultant will be selected from a shortlist, subject to availability of funding.
