Overview :
The United Nations System is hereby undertaking a solicitation of proposals from travel agents who are interested to provide various travel/Protocol services regularly required by the UN agencies which includes but is not limited to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), United Nations Children Education Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), United Nations Information Center (UNIC), Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System, United Nations Field Security Office (UNFSO), United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).

The successful bidder shall be contracted for this purpose for an initial period of one (1) year, and renewable thereafter, upon satisfactory evaluation of performance.

The contract with the successful travel agent/agents shall be signed by the UN agency who will be appointed by the UN Country Team as Travel Administrator, for and behalf of the other UN Agencies. All official business travel of UN agency staff shall then be referred to the contracted travel agency/agencies.

Your offer comprising of technical and financial proposals, in separate sealed envelopes, should reach the following address by COB 30th November 2009.
