Note: Duly perfected application should be accompanied by a Non-refundable fee of Rs. 250/ = for each item of goods/service.

Applications are invited from reputed Suppliers, Producers and Contractors for the supply of the following goods and services for the year 2010 for the Eastern Provincial Council in respect of the following districts.
Conditions :- The registration of suppliers will be valid only for the year 2010. Quotation will normally be invited from the list of registered suppliers. However, the Procurer reserves the right to invite quotations from any other sources.
Registration will be subject to assessment and evaluation and if found details given are false, the application will be rejected.
The Chief Secretary reserves the right to accept or reject any application received for registration without assigning any reasons.
Registered suppliers who fail to quote promptly when requested or fail to -make deliveries in time, in conformity with the samples will be liable to be written off from the register of registered suppliers without any prior notice.
The suppliers shall be registered only for related items of goods and services for which the business Registration is made.
Suppliers should indicate the preferred district they could supply the items.
The garages / service stations to be registered for repairs / maintenance of vehicles should be equipped with the basic requirements. Description of available facilities and details of skilled workmen to be submitted along with the application.
The suppliers will not be paid with cash advances.
Application for registration should be self-prepared as per the given format and should be forwarded along with the certified copy of the Business Registration Certificate and Money Order (original) for Non-Refundable Fee, to the "Deputy Chief Secretary - Finance, Chief Secretary's Secretariat. Inner Harbour Road. Trincomalee''. on or before 15th December, 2009. All applications should be sent under Registered Cover clearly marked "Registration of Suppliers for the year 2010" on the top left hand corner of the envelope.
Duly perfected application should be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of Rs. 250/ = for each item of goods/service and money Order to be taken in favour of "Deputy Chief Secretary-Finance, Eastern Provincial Council" encashable at Trincomalee Post Office. If registration is sought for supply of more than one item a separate application should be sent for each item and should pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 250/ = for each item.
Application received after 15th December, 2009 will be rejected.
