Sealed tenders without involving any foreign exchange component are invited from WAPDA approved manufacturers / suppliers duly pre-qualified / registered by the Chief Engineer (P&D) WAPDA, Lahore/DISCOs renewed for the year 2009-10 for the supply of following material at Regional Store Multan on FCS basis: -
The tender forms can be obtained from the office of Manager (M.M) MEPCO Ltd. Multan upto one day before the opening date of tender on payment of Rs. 500/- each tender (Non-refundable). There will be no sale of tender forms on tender opening date.
The tender shall remain open for acceptance for 120 days from the tender opening date and must accompany Bid Guarantee of 2% of the quoted value valid for 150 days issued by any scheduled Bank of Pakistan on specified proforma / Demand Draft alongwith the Sales tax registration certificate. Conditional tenders or tenders without Bid Guarantee will not be accepted. Bids received after closing time & date will not be considered and return un-opened.
The tender No 0609-44 will be received on 12.11.2009 at 09:30 AM , Tender No 0609-45 at 10:00 AM ,0609-46 at 10:30 , 0609-47 at 11:00 AM and will be opened on the same dates at 10:00, & 10:30,11:00 and 11:30 HRs respectively i.e half an hour after receipt of the same. The under signed reserves the right to accept or reject any offer or part thereof without assigning any reason.
Note i. Tender documents will be issued only to those firms who will produce registration/Prequalification Certificate from C.E (P&D) WAPDA/DISCOs & sales tax registration certificate, company profile etc: & copy of prototype approval from C.E (D&S) Lahore.
ii. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to attend.
iii. MEPCO reserves the right to increase / decrease the quantities as per requirement.

v. Bidders are requested to give their firm & final prices as no negotiations are expected
vi. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 03.09.2009 at 1100 HRs in the office of under sign Samples of the offered items must be brought on Opening date of Tenders where feasible.
