Description Expressions of Interest are called to establish a number of panels for the provision of ICT services as follows:
• Data Network / Communications upgrades / replacements / new developments;
• Server and Storage upgrades/replacements/new developments;
• Enhancements/upgrades of existing applications;
• Application development (primarily .NET Web apps and Winform);
• Project Management Office (PMO) services;
• Solution Architecture;
• Business Solution implementation services;
• Strategy and Enterprise Architecture.

The Principal’s ICT environment is managed as follows:
• In-house teams are responsible for: ICT strategy and investment proposals, defining business solutions, the Project Management Office and managing outsourced service delivery;
• Outsourced services are provided to TransGrid by Mincom and include Service Desk, Application support and Facilities management;
• In-house teams provide support for a number of TransGrid’s line of business custom-built applications as well as the Corporate Data Network including Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) telephony and Video Conferencing;
• TransGrid’s current ICT portfolio and standards are detailed in Attachment 1.

RFT Type Expression of Interest For Pre-Qualification - An invitation for Expressions Of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a type of work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria. RFT may then be invited from a panel of providers (as Selective, or Invited)

Other Instructions A Tender information session will be held at the Principal’s offices at Sydney West Regional Office, 200 Old Wallgrove Road, Eastern Creek NSW 2766 on Wednesday, 25 November 2009, from 10am to 12pm.
The Principal’s current ICT portfolio will be discussed in further detail and Tenderers will be able to clarify their understanding of the Specification. Tenderer attendance at this session is mandatory.
