The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (the Department) seeks the services of one or more vendors for design, development, implementation, hosting and maintenance services in relation to the delivery of the National Training System. Successful tenderers will be required to enter into a three part contract. An overview of the parts follows: (a) Part 1 Part 1 consists of one or more vendors being engaged to perform the design of the system, based on the: (i) Business Requirements; (ii) Non-Functional Requirements; (iii) logical data model; and (iv) Part 1 also requires the contractor(s) to fully and accurately develop schedules and budgets for the remaining Parts of the Services. The contractors' delivery of the Part 1 Services will be considered by the Department, to determine which contractor will be selected to complete Part 2 and Part 3 of the contract. (b) Part 2 (i) The Department may then select one of the contractors selected for Part 1 to proceed to the execution of Part 2 and Part 3. That contractor will be required to build the system in accordance with all of the agreed deliverables from Part 1 of the contract. (c) Part 3 The contractor selected to perform Part 2 may also be required to perform Part 3 of the contract which consists of: (i) The maintenance, upkeep and possible enhancements of all relevant components of the delivered system for a period; (ii) The hosting of the delivered system; and (iii) The continued maintenance and upkeep of all related hosting environments, hardware and software for a period. |
