INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

In consonance with the Memorandum, of Agreement signed by the National Food Authority (NFA) and the Department of Agriculture (DA) for the implementation of the Rapid Seed Supply Financing Project (RASSFID). The National Food Authority, Regional Office 9 through its Bids and Award committee (BAC) invites all interested suppliers and DA accredited seed growers to participate in the bidding for the supply and delivery of Twenty Four Thousand Nine Hundred Fourty One (24,941) bags Certified Seeds.Bids in excess of the ABC for the lot/lots to be Bid shall be automatically rejected at Bid Opening.

Detailed product specification and delivery period of Certified Seeds shall be included in the Technical Specification and Schedule of Delivery requirements, respectively.

A complete set of Bidding Documents will be issued to interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable bidding fee as shown in the above table. The Bidding Documents will be received personally by the prospective Bidder or the authorized representative.

Schedule of activities is listed as follows:
1 Issuance Bid Document October 29 - Nov. 10, 2009
2. Pre-Bid Conference November 12, 2009 @ 2:00 P.M.
3. Submission and Opening of Bids November 25, 2009 @ 2:00 P.M.

Venue will be at the Office of the Asst. Regional Director, NFA, Gov. Ramos Ave., San Roque, Zamboanga City with Tel.# (062) 991-1828/(062) 985-1183 and Fax No. (062) 991-1339.

The National Food Authority assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid.

The National Food Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to annul the bidding process at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
