SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION

Heating for the Høvik-/Stoppen area in Lier.
II.1.2) Type of contract and location of works, place of delivery or of
performance: Works.
Design and execution.
Main site or location of works: Lier Municipality, Norway.
II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Lier
municipality and Buskerud county would like a tender for heating for a
selection of schools and sports centres situated in Høvik/Stoppen in Lier
municipality. The heating shall be produced in the most neutral way
possible for the climate and systems are therefore wanted with low
emissions of CO2 per kilowatt hour of delivered heat. The total amount of
heating which shall be delivered is approx. 5 GWh per annum. The delivery
period is 10 years with an option for 10 years.
The contractor must produce, distribute and deliver heating to the
buildings/sites in the area. An energy plant, a district heating network
and district heating substations are expected to be constructed for this
purpose. The contractor will have the total responsibility for the
engineering design services, construction and operation of the energy
plant, district heating network and substations. The contractor will own
the plant in the delivery period and will sell heating to the awarding
authority.
