Individual service contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/129237/C/SER/BY.
2. Procedure: Restricted.
3. Programme: ENPI.
4. Financing: Belarus action programme 2008.
5. Contracting authority: European Community, represented by the European
Commission, on behalf of and for the account of the Republic of Belarus,
Minsk, BELARUS.
6. Nature of contract: Fee-based.
7. Contract description: The overall objective of the project is
introducing effective sustainable development patterns in Belarus, full
account being taken of environmental issues. It has 3 activities:
i) legal and procedural approximation, and capacity building in the field
of environment;
ii) pilot projects on waste management and biodiversity conservation; and
iii) education, awareness-raising and dissemination activities.
8. Indicative budget: 2 250 000 EUR.
9. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: December
2009.
10. Additional information: Delivery of equipment for pilot projects will
be implemented via separate supply contracts.
11. Legal basis: European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument
(Regulation (EC) No 1638/2006 of the EP and of the Council — OJ L 310/1 of
9.11.2006).
