Payment of Rs. 1,120/- non-refundable fee.

Sealed quotations will be received up to 2.00 p.m. on 24.11.2009, for the supply of Beef as animal feed, from 01st January 2010 up to 31st December 2010, to the Department of National Zoological Gardens, by the Chairman, Ministry Procurement Committee, Ministry of Sports and Public Utilities.
Tender Forms and relevant documents can be obtained from the Accounts, Section of the Ministry of Sports and Public Utilities .at No. 7 A, Reid Avenue, Colombo 07, on payment of Rs. 1,120/- non-refundable fee, up to 3.00 p.m. on 23.11.2009.
Tenders in duplicate should be submitted only on Specimen Forms obtained on payment of the relevant fee to tile above Office. The cover containing the quotations should clearly be marked "Supply of Beef as Animal Feed - 2010" on the left side top corner.
Completed Tender Forms should either be sent by Registered Post or deposited in the Tender Box kept at the Ministry of Sports and Public Utilities at No. 7A, Reid Avenue, Colombo 07, to be received before the closing date. Every tender should be accompanied with a Bid Security as mentioned in the Para No. 01. Either the receipt issued by the Shroff of the Ministry of Sports and Public Utilities for the payment of the value of the Bid Security by cash or an unconditional Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Director, National Zoo, should be annexed to every tender.
Acceptance of tenders will be closed at 2.00 p.m. on 24.11.2009 and will be opened immediately thereafter. Tenderers or their authorized representatives will be permitted to be present at the occasion.
