The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging in the Washington Metropolitan Area for the Census Advisory Committee of Professional Associations Meeting on March 4-5, 2010. Lodging is required for Thirty (30) participants as follows: 30 sleeping rooms on Wednesday, March 3, 2010; 30 sleeping rooms on Thursday, March 4, 2010, and 5 sleeping rooms on Friday, March 5, 2010. Most participants will arrive on Wednesday, March 3, and depart on Friday, March 5. The accommodations must have the following: Metro Accessibility and Full Service Restaurant. The U.S. Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Award will be made on a best value basis in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Lodging rate must be equal to or less than Government per diem rate. All responsible sources that can meet the requirements and provide items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical proposal, hotel contract, and descriptive literature to Lisa Safewright via email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov or fax to 301-763-4624 or 301-763-4149. Please send all questions via email. No phone calls will be honored. Award will be made by Government Purchase Order. Closing date for receipt of proposals is November 19, 2009.
