Synopsis -- Sources Sought This announcement is a Request for Information (RFI) only. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is seeking preliminary marketing information from perspective companies. The requirement is to determine availability, lead-time and delivery schedule for up to 150 homes to be built in American Samoa. FEMA at a minimum looks for industry to provide conclusive business case results for the listed items below, as well as other requests defined in the RFI. 1. In the past 3-5 years has your company built any housing in American Samoa? If so, what types of homes have you built? 2. What building codes do you follow? 3. Lead time from receipt of order for 10 units, •q Minimum and or maximum order quantity. Minimum: 10; Maximum: 150. •q Estimated Firm Fixed Price per unit to included shipping and delivery costs. From a 1 bedroom up to a three bedroom, what is the difference in time and cost to complete and deliver a housing unit? 4. Does your company offer a commercial warranty? 5. Does your company offer price point breaks or quantity discounts? If so, then please provide with your response. 6. Are you a local contractor in AS, if not where is your company located? 7. Describe your business category - small, large, HUBZONE, etc. 8. Are you a licensed contractor in AS. 9. What is your DUNNS number? 10. Have you ever done business with the Federal Government, if so; describe the scope and type of effort. Respondents should provide as a minimum: 1. A positive response to each of the questions above; 2. Provide a list of contracts and or contact email addresses who can provide past performance information relative to delivery schedule, quality of automotive fit finish, etc. Request you provide total number of homes built to the general public within the past 3-5 years. The requested information is for planning purposes, and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. However, FEMA will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning. It is recognized that cost information provided by the contractor is a preliminary estimate for planning purposes; the contractor will not be bound to these estimates. Subsequent acquisitions may follow in the ways to best meet FEMA's needs. The government invites comments related to possible purchase or acquisition strategies. If there is a GSA or other contract vehicle already available for the technology being proposed, please include this information in the response. All data received in response to this RFI marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from release outside the government. It is not the intent of FEMA to reimburse providers for the cost of submitting information in response to this RFI. The Government will not return pictures, documents, graphs and or other requested information.
