The MICC-Fort Myer, Directorate of Contracting, intends to make a single award for the provision of Elevator Maintenance & Repair Services Joint Base Fort Myer-Henderson Hall and Fort McNair Washington, DC. The contract type will be a firm fixed requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The successful contractor shall provide a full services elevator maintenance program. The contractor must possess at a minimum all applicable licenses, certification per local, state and federal regulations. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The Contractor will normally work, Monday through Friday (except federal holidays), between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The contractor shall provide elevator maintenance services in accordance with Statement of Work in the solicitation. The Contractor is required to be experienced with the delivery of elevator maintenance and be able to meet the requirements of this solicitation. The solicitation will be made available on or about 04 November, 2009, and will be distributed solely through the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation_search_form.cfm. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 238290, with a small business size standard of $14.0 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The date for receipt of quotations is on/about 23 November 14, 2009; this solicitation is a total small business set-aside.
