II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Oxfordshire and
Buckinghamshire Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint a
provider for a Framework to deliver design and construction services to
support a number of large construction tasks, each with a value greater
than 250 000 GBP (inclusive of fees, directs and VAT) and less than or
equal to the OJEU threshold, currently approximately 3 500 000 GBP (plus
other fees, directs and VAT). This threshold may be subject to incremental
year on year increases as determined by EU or UK legislation.
These projects are expected to have a total value of approximately 35 000
000 GBP over a four year period commencing April 2010.
Individual projects will be located in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and
surrounding counties.
The type of construction tasks include, but are not limited to:
— Multi phased construction tasks made up of a series of smaller
construction tasks, very large repair type works, refurbishments,
redevelopments, extensions, new works,
— Some construction tasks may be purely for the provision of design and
consultancy services e.g. feasibility studies, option exploration,
condition surveys etc,
— Some very large construction tasks may span more than one financial
year.
